Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric. Turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic healing tradition for centuries as a folk remedy. The active ingredients in curcuma longa are plant substances called curcuminoids. These are compounds that have been observed to demonstrate potent antioxidant properties. Curcuminoids may help to neutralise free-radicals.

What is Curcumin 95?

Our curcumin is standardised to 95% curcuminoids. This means it is highly potent. Many companies sell pure turmeric and boast about its curcumin content, when regular turmeric only contains between 2-6% curcuminoids.

What is Bioperine^®?

BioPerine® is an extract obtained from the black pepper fruit which may significantly enhance the bioavailability of various supplement nutrients through increased absorption. If a curcumin or turmeric supplement does not contain BioPerine® then your body will not be optimising the effects of the active ingredient.

Our Curcumin with piperine supplement is pure and potent and contains zero bulking agents.

What are the ingredients in the product?

Turmeric Extract as Curcumin C3 Complex®, Hypromellose (Vegetable Capsule), Black Pepper Extract as Bioperine®.

What is the dosage and when should I take it?

Take 1-2 capsules daily with food. Curcumin can be taken at any time, except after weight training as you do want inflammation then. Also, it is best to take it with food as the fats in food may help it absorb a little better.

What are the benefits?

It acts as an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory and can be used for detox as well as pain relief.

What is the potency of Curcumin?

One capsule contains 500mg of Curcumin. Standardised to 95% Curcuminoids - Bisdementhoxycurcumin 2.2% to 6.5%, Dementhoxycurcumin 15% to 19% and Curcumin 75% to 81%.
